Moving Items

If you have Full Control rights, you can move folders and documents. Folders can be moved to other folders or libraries. Documents can be moved into other folders.

To move an item:

  1. Do one of the following:
    • Right-click the item, and select Move.

    • Select the items you want to move. Then, click the Move button in the action toolbar.

    • Open the item you want to move. Then, choose Move from the More Actions menu.

    The folder selection dialog box is displayed.

  2. Navigate to the location where you want to move the item.
    • To navigate up the folder tree, use the breadcrumbs at the top of the dialog box.

    • To create a new folder in the selected location, click Create Folder. Enter a folder name and click Confirm.

  3. Click Move Folder or Move Document.
