Assigning a Brand to a Corporate Library

You can explicitly assign a custom brand to a corporate library.

Note:

A brand cannot be explicitly assigned to more than one corporate library. If a corporate library does not have a brand explicitly assigned to it, then the default brand is used. For more information about the default brand, see Designating a Default Brand.

Note:

Dynamic branding is available only to customers who are taking advantage of the New Link Experience for ShareBase. For information about participating in this program, contact your ShareBase account manager.

To assign a brand to a corporate library:

  1. Access the Libraries view in ShareBase Administration.
  2. Select the library you want to modify.
The Dynamic Branding section displays the dynamic branding currently in effect for the library.
  3. Under Dynamic Branding, do one of the following:
    • Click Modify Brand.

    • Click Dynamic Brand Not Set. This message is displayed if the library is not assigned a brand, and a default brand has not been designated for your deployment.

The Modify Library Brand dialog box is displayed.

  4. Choose or create a brand to assign to the library.
    • To assign an existing brand, select the brand from the Library Brand drop-down list.

    • To create a new brand, click Create New Brand. The Setup Dynamic Brand wizard is displayed. For more information, see Configuring Brands.

    • To view all existing brands, click View All Brands. The Custom Dynamic Branding view is displayed in a new tab.

  5. In the Library Prompt field, enter an optional message to display to link recipients when they access link shares from this library.
For link shares created with the Custom Password or Email Access Code security option, the message is displayed after the link recipient enters the correct password or access code.
  6. Click Save Brand.
The Dynamic Branding section displays the assigned branding. If applicable, the section also displays a preview of the library prompt you configured.
