Designating a Default Brand

Dynamic branding allows you to designate a default brand, which is used for the following:

  • Link shares created from any corporate library that does not have a specific brand assigned to it.

  • Link shares created from the personal libraries of ShareBase users.

If a default brand is not designated, then standard custom branding (also called custom single branding) is used for these link shares. If standard custom branding is not published, then default ShareBase branding is used for these link shares. For information about standard custom branding, see Custom Branding.

Note:

Dynamic branding is available only to customers who are taking advantage of the New Link Experience for ShareBase. For information about participating in this program, contact your ShareBase account manager.

To designate a default brand:

  1. In ShareBase Administration, click Branding.
You are prompted to choose a branding type.
  2. Select Dynamic Branding.
The Custom Dynamic Branding view is displayed.
  3. Click the Set as Default button on the brand you want to designate as the default brand.
    A confirmation prompt is displayed.
  4. Click Make Default Brand.
The brand is marked as the default.
