Uploading New Versions of Documents

If you have the appropriate rights, you can replace documents in ShareBase with new versions.

To replace a document:

  1. Do one of the following:
    • Right-click the document, and select Replace.

    • Open the document, and then click the Replace button in the action toolbar.

  2. Browse to the document with which to replace the original.
    Note:

    The replacement document must have the same file extension as the original.

  3. Click Open.
    The document is uploaded as the Current Version of the document. This change is reflected in the versions section of the information pane.
