Emailing Users With Share Rights

You can email all users who currently have share rights to a document or folder. This feature can be useful for notifying other users of changes to documents and folders. Emails are sent to the addresses users provided when signing up for ShareBase.

To email users with share rights:

  1. Open the document or folder for which you want to send an email.
  2. In the information pane, click either of the following icons.
  3. Click Email Shared Users.
  4. Enter the subject of the email.
  5. Enter a message to appear in the body of the email.
  6. Click Send. The users and groups with share rights will receive both your message and link to the document or folder from which you sent the email.
